Dream and Journey Found Her Work: Short Story Behind Ookami Mama
The author's journey began in bookstores, where she embarked on a quest to find a book that perfectly resonated with her child's character. However, she soon realized it was difficult to find book that could capture her child's need. This revelation sparked an idea, and the author decided to take matters into her own hands by creating her very own books. Every step of the way, she involved her 3-years old daughter in the creative process, seeking her opinion on the book's design, illustrations (special thanks to all spectacular illustrators) and storyline. In essence, her daughter became the true reviewer of these published works. Each book was carefully crafted with the intention of accompanying and nurturing every child's development, as they all possess their own distinctive tastes and preferences.
The author said "Yes, it's true that each of our children is different and unique. Those books were made according to my child's needs and that's what I want to share with you. Hopefully these versions can color your child's life. Enjoy!"
Perjalanan penulis dimulai di toko buku, di mana ia memulai pencarian untuk menemukan buku yang sesuai dengan karakter anaknya. Namun, ia segera menyadari sulitnya menemukan buku yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan anaknya. Kesadaran ini memicu sebuah ide, dan penulis memutuskan untuk mengambil langkah dengan membuat bukunya sendiri. Di setiap langkahnya, ia melibatkan putrinya yang berusia 3 tahun dalam proses kreatif, menanyakan pendapatnya mengenai desain buku, ilustrasi (terima kasih kepada semua ilustrator spektakuler) dan alur cerita. Dalam hal ini, putrinya menjadi reviewer sejati atas karya-karya terbitan tersebut. Setiap buku disusun dengan cermat dengan tujuan untuk mendampingi dan membina perkembangan setiap anak, karena mereka semua memiliki selera dan kesukaan masing-masing.
Penulis berkata “Ya, memang benar setiap anak kita berbeda dan unik. Buku-buku itu dibuat sesuai dengan kebutuhan anak saya dan itulah yang ingin saya bagikan kepada Anda. Semoga versi ini dapat mewarnai kehidupan anak Anda. Selamat menikmati!"
